As an huge beauty fan the one thing that I really love to do is checking out what other women have in their makeup bag (I'm addicted to these kind of Youtube videos). So today I'm showing you what I have in my current makeup bag. Because I love trying and testing out new makeup products there is a constant rotation going on, when it comes to the content of my makeup bag. But the makeup that I'm showing you today are the products I've be using for quite some time and if I would lost one of them, I would actually repurchased that item right away.
The Base:
The best match for my skin these days, when it comes to foundation: No7 Stay Perfect foundation in Deeply Honey. I add a little Bobbi Brown corrector in Peach, to correct any results from the late night before. Plus I hide some dark spots with the MAC Studio Finish concealer, with spf 35, in NC45. I've been using this colour for almost ten years, and still haven't found anything better. To finish this base I like Les Beiges (by Chanel) Healthy Glow Sheer Powder (with spf 15) in No 60. This powder has the same scent as their lovely serums (so expensive, but they feel very nice on your skin), but unfortunately I'm almost finished with this compact. So I have to start saving for a brand new one.
The Cheeks:
And to add some colour to the cheeks I like to work with a small amount of blush. I always come back to the Sheertone Shimmer Blush by MAC in Peachtwist. A product that I'm testing right now is the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer in number 2. Loving the formula so far. I only need a small drop, but maybe it's a little too much glittery for my skintone, I'm not sure yet.
For Eyes:
The 5 couleurs Gold Edition palette by Dior and Estée Lauder eye palette in Current Desire. I love them both, because their shadows are not too powdery, which makes it easy to apply in a second. Another eyeshadow that I like is the L'oreal Paris Color Riche L'Ombre Pure in Lumiere. This almost yellow gold colour gives my eyes light, if you know what I mean. The three other products for eyes include my everyday black mascara: Le Volume by Chanel (in 01 black). After that I add an extra layer Great Lash mascara by Maybelline (in blackest black). These two work very well together. And the eye pencil that just slides over your eyelidis by Gosh in light copper.
The Lip Department:
When you've read my blog before it's probably no surprise that the lip department is very well represent. First the classic red lipstick by Chanel, called Lune Rousse with matching lip pencil in Rouge Noir Vamp. This, for me, is the ultimate matt red duo. Another red that I love is the Kate by Rimmel lipstick in 107. It's a kind of more plum, fresh, less classic version of Lune Rousse. And because a girl can never own too much red lipsticks I got the Loreal Paris Color Riche Pure Red Collection Exclusive by Laetitia, a couple of weeks ago. You can also find a red tinted lip conditioner (with spf 15) in a pot by MAC in Plum Perfect in my makeup bag. It has a nice vanilla scent and you can use this balm over and over again, without getting dry lips. The last red lip product is of course the Nars satin lip pencil in Hyde Park. The next time I'm visiting Sephora I have to get my hands on more colours. For an everyday pink lipstick I use this MAC lipstick in Brick O La. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle is my lips but better pinkish kind of lipstick, and has been my favorites of the range from the beginning. For dry lips I can grab the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Pefector in 01, Avene Cold Cream Lip Balm or the Reve de Miel lip balm by Nuxe.
For My Hands:
No woman can live without hand cream. I like to use the Ginkgo's Secret Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba caring hand balm by Rituals (they choose the most easiest name to remember). And because no hands look nice with dry cuticles I use the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream for dry cuticles. Which seems to last forever, so worth every penny.
