It's not very often that I finish a makeup product, but when it comes to skincare I go through a lot of creams and other stuff. Stuff that are meant to help me bring back my skin feeling soft and smooth again.
Here we go:
- For Face: I'm sad to say that my tube of Sensibiafine is pretty empty now. Man, how I love and enjoyed this thick, easy, no fuzz face cream. As soon as it get colder outside and my skin starts to feel dry and irritated, this is all I need. The next time I will be in France I will run straight to the pharmacy to get another one (or two) of this great cream in a tube.
- For Body: I've already gone through so many and I still keep buying Palmer's Cocao Butter Formula, with vitamine E. It's probably the best (affordable) thing for my skin during these colder months. The formula is actually too thick, and the cream does not sink in right away, but I love it anyway.
- For Lips: I always come back to this easy and affordable daily lip conditioner. I love the scent, it always does the job so well, and the small and light weight pot that it comes in makes it easy to carry around wherever I go. And did I mentioned it only costs a couple of euro's?
- For Elbows: I don't know about you, and this might sounds a little weird, but I hate having dry elbows. Whenever I see a women wearing short sleeve tees with dry (and therefor older looking) elbows I want to hand her a pot of this great smelling coconut body butter by The Body Shop. This empty pot wasn't my first, and won't be my last.
- For Lashes: We all now the Great Lash mascara by Maybelline. When it came out, years ago, it was my daily mascara. These days I use it after applying my daily mascara (Chanel Le Volume or whatever I'm using at the moment). It get's rid of any chunkiness, and makes my lashes look natural (or at least that what I tend to believe).
- For Hair: I never forget to spray a little Coconut & Almond Leave In Conditioner (by Boots) before blow drying my hair. I love the scent and it makes my hair feel smooth, even after I forget to use a hair serum.
- For Cuticles: This small and handy glass bottle, by Essence, contains oil to make my cuticles feel soft again. It's budget friendly and easy to carry around when you're traveling.
- The Spray: If you're a beauty junkie, like myself, you've probably heard every beauty blogger rave about the Serozinc face spray by La Roche Posay. First I didn't understand where all the fuss was about, but now that I've tried it for a couple of weeks I actually kind of like it. I apply this before using my daily moisturizer and doesn't irritate my skin.
- The Deo: When it comes to deodorant I still haven't found the perfect one. One that smells fresh, but not too girly. One that doesn't irritate my skin after shaving and one that doesn't leave any white marks on my LND (FIY: Little Navy Dress). But also one that I can just buy whenever I want to (I always seem to like products that I can never find again). This deodorant 8x4 is called Unity and smells like bergamot, white tea and musk. Now that's what we like. I would love to purchase another one, but you've probably guessed it: I can't find it anywhere. At least not in my local drugstore. So I'm will have to go find another one, again.
The Results: I would (or already have) repurchase all of the above mentioned products. Why? Because they do what they promise and are all budget friendly. And what's not to like about that?
