The Cleanser: This year I finally found a cleanser that really cleaned my face, but doesn't makes my skin feel like an old newspaper. I'm talking about the Kiehl's Purifying Foaming Cleanser. The packaging is simple and looks nice on my bathroom self, but the inside is even better. This foaming cleanser comes in a giant tube, and because a little goes a long way I find it pretty affordable.
The Face Cream: A lifesaver for my face during the cold and freezing months: SensiBiafine Face Cream. As soon as it get's colder my skin starts to feel really dry. I wake up feeling horrible, and find it hard to put on my makeup, as anything seems to irritate my skin a little more. But after using this thick face cream for just one night, it was like I had a skin makeover. So the next time I'm in Paris I have to get my hands on more tubes of this skin life changing extra rich face cream.
The Lipstick: Sometimes you'll find a lipstick and you immediately know it's going to be one of your favorites. And that's exactly what happened with the Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate for Rimmel. The shade (107) is the perfect red for autumn and winter. The colour stays on for hours and the lipstick smells like fresh apples. What's not to like?
The Lip Pencil: I've tried many lip pencils, but nothing is like the NARS satin lip pencil (in Hyde Park). Besides the fact that the pencil looks sleek and great in my makeup bag, the texture feels very soft and creamy. It glides onto the lips like you want it to do. The finish is not matt, but not too glossy either. Just the way I like it.
The EyeShadow Pencil: A pencil for eyes should feel soft, has to stay on your eyelids during a whole day, has to come in nice looking shades and has to be easy to work with. You'll find this all in this gold eyeshadow pencil (in light copper) by Gosh. The pencil has a buttery texture and has been one of my favorites since the first day I tried and tested this lovely eye product.
The Nail Polish: Finally! A nail polish that is easy to apply, dries quickly and stays on for days. Maybelline New York Super Stay 7 Days Gel Nail Color is sooo good. I can't wait to get more colours. This is the best nail polish I've ever (!) tried.
The Budget Friendly Foundation: This watery foundation is surprisingly easy to apply, has a light coverage but you can build up more layers just the way you like it. I have raved about the Armani Luminous Silk foundation a lot, this year. But because that is not the most affordable option I went looking for a more budget friendly version. I'm not saying it's a dupe, because the colours are different, but it is a good second choice for an every day makeup look. The even finish is what makes this foundation one of my favorite discoveries of the year.
