No worries, I still love to wear black suede, pointed toe, high heels. But lately I have a weakness for nude looking shoes. The ones that can go with all of my outfits, every time of the day. It doesn't matter if I am wearing jeans with simple tees, a navy dress, white jeans with a striped top or one of my favorite LBD's, nude heels will look great anyway.
And besides that, they are really classy, (meaning you can wear them for years). Which is so my style.

Another thing that is great about wearing nudes, is that you can pack only one pair for a weekend trip or a week to the sun. I actually went on a sunny holiday once, for two weeks, and only packed the strappy leather sandals shown above. (I also brought flip flops, flats and trainers, but these were the only heels I had with me).
The last reason why I also fell for this kind of non coloured shoes? Well, that's because this fashion season it's all about colour. And if you've read my blog before, you probably noticed that I never wear a lot of colour (navy, black, white, grey are my go to colours, if you know what I mean). But this summer I'm planning to add a hint of colour to my wardrobe. Still not sure what to choose (printed trousers, a colorful skirt of maybe a red dress), but I do know that whatever colourful item I will be wearing, I will match them with a nude pair of heels. And yes, I could also go for pink, yellow or green heels. But for me, that is just a little bit too much colour. And too much is never a good idea. So, nude it is.
