For years and years I only wore sneakers in the gym during my work-out. But times changed, and sneakers became a real deal. I mean, if even women who normally only wear heels are walking on sneakers it's a thing, not? One of the first sneakers I bought, some years ago, are these low (not so) white Converse. I loved how they looked while wearing them with a skinny white jeans and a striped tee. Or on a lazy sunday with my favorite boyfriend jeans and a thick sweater in Autumn.
After this purchase I fell for the Nike free run 5.0 in black, and some grey and navy pairs by New Balance. But I always loved the classic Stan Smiths by Adidas. The girls who wore them always looked so relaxed and comfy, yet stylish at the same time. But I always thought it wasn't for me (afraid my feet would look to big).
The other day I decided to try them on, and to my very own surprise I really liked them. I know Stan Smiths have been really popular the last two years. So I guess I'm a little late on the bandwagon here. But you know what they say: better late then never. And when I wore them for the very first time last friday, I actually felt comfy and relaxed. So it seems like mission accomplished.
