This year I hopefully manage to spent less, but get more use out of the clothing pieces I already own. I have a closet full of (really nice) clothes, and this year I'm planning to wear everything at least once. This means new combi's, mixing old with new and a lot of high street with some designer (shoe) pieces. But there are a view things that I'm 'aloud' to purchase. Why? Because they're classic, timeless pieces and great additions to my (already pretty nice looking) wardrobe.

The list:
- A classic black suit.
I've always wanted to own a suit. But the suits that I've found were either to expensive or the fitting was one big disaster. Hopefully this year I'll find a suit that screams fashion, instead of office. I prefer black, but navy is also a colour I'm interested in (what else is new, right?). Why I want a suit? Because the possibilities are endless: I can wear the jacket and trousers together with pumps and red lipstick, or wear them with just a white tee and my converse. Or what about just the bottoms, a cashmere kind of sweater and high heels? Aaaarrrggghhh, I can't wait to style the perfect suit. If you have any recommendations where I can find a classic, well fitted one, please let me know.

- A timeless white cotton shirt.
When looking for the perfect cotton shirt, patience is something that would come in handy, as I've been on the hunt for the right cotton shirt for more than six years. And everyday when I don't know what to wear, I wish I had this piece in my closet.

- A black, but not so boring, leather belt.
Sometimes all you need to finish a look is a simple black belt. A belt that is made of leather, and that feels softer every time you've worn it. The kind of belt that becomes part of your everyday outfit, and goes with jeans and a simple tee, a little black dress, makes an old coat looks like new again or keeps your boyfriend jeans in place (while wearing high heels).

- Some fresh new basis tees (white, grey, navy and black please).
You can never own too many basic tees. I love them, wear them almost every day, but find them really hard to find. So when I do find them, I'm planning to get them in bulk this year. I already know I will not regret a purchase like this, because I always get so much wear out of them.

- A spring jeans.
A what now? Yes, a jeans for spring. You know, when you start to hear birds singing in the morning, the sun is up while you're on your way to work. And you still need a jacket in the morning, but you know that at the end of this day you'll find yourself on a terrace outside, enjoying the sun while having a nice glass of wine. Well, for those days I need a spring jeans. A jeans that fits perfectly, goes with everything, the fabric isn't too thick, neither too cold. The kind of jeans that if you don't know what to wear in the morning, you just pick out this blue friend and within a minute you've put together a new fresh looking outfit of the day. Well, that my ladies is a spring jeans.
