Looking back at the past year I've learned that I have to enjoy life a little bit more. So the upcoming year is going to be about things that make me happy & healthier. And here's is how I plan to do that in 2015.
Here we go:
- Finally visit a spa: Treating myself to a facial, back massage or any other spa treatment has been on my list for such a long time. In the coming months I plan to actual visit a spa (I can't wait!).
- Bed time: Sleeping more hours a night does not only make you feel better when waking up in the morning, but you will benefit that extra couple of hours during the entire day. You will be able to concentrate and stay more focused, your skin will look healthier and you won't feel like taking a nap at 3am. So more sleep for me this upcoming year.
- Dance more: When I was younger, in my teens, I used to dance around in my room a lot, (listening to the Spice Girls, and yes that's true). I can remember how happy that made me feel. I am not saying I will dance to the same music, but I will dance more, that's a promise.
- Travel: I love to travel, but lately I tend to travel to the same places (Barcelona, London to name a view). So this year I want to visit a city I've never been before.
- Read: Since I was a little girl I really love to read. But as I got older I only read books while being on holiday. Back home I grabbed a lot of magazines or got my information online, like I forgot to pick out a book. And I honestly don't know why, because I still enjoy reading a lot. So in the next view months, before going to bed, I'll be reading a book.
- Makeup wise: I want to play with colour, when it comes to different eye looks. I always tend to go for a gold kind of eye look, but I think it's time for something new.
- Health: Add more green juices to my diet, I'm sure I will feel a lot fitter.
- Working out: Add more yoga to my work out regime. I did this in the past and it felt amazing afterwards.
- Hairwise: Visit my hair salon more often. I do like taking care of my hair (leave in conditioner, masks, heat protection spray). I just don't like to go to an hairdresser, even when I know I feel great afterwards.
- Another work out resolution: Working out outside during the winter. Going to the gym is great, but during the colder months I think it's also good to go outside more often. Even if it means going for a 15-minute run, anything will do. Just to get some fresh air, after being inside the whole day, will hopefully add some healthy looking glow to the cheeks.
- Paint my nails more often: Nice looking nails simply make me smile.
- Interior wise: I've been loving stylish looking interiors since I can remember. I enjoy giving rooms a personal touch, whether it's something from Zara Home or an unique piece from a flea market.
- Life: Try to care less about what other people think of me.
And, what are your New Year's resolutions?
