Since I was a little girl I always looked forward to a new year at school. Because a new year meant a new agenda. Even when I didn't needed a weekly planner my parents would let me choose one. I wrote down my playdates, birthdays of my friends and family and holidays (how I miss those weeks in Spain, Italy and France). When I got older, and actually needed a planner for school, I customized mine with fashion photos from models walking down the runway and other fashion related images I picked my mom's Elle and Marie Claire. Back then there weren't any style related planner's, so I 'made' my own. I always wanted to work in fashion, and this way school felt less boring.
But times changed and I slowly realized I wanted something more basic (weekly planner wise). During my internship at Glamour Magazine in The Netherlands (already years ago) I got my first Moleskine weekly notebook. I already had a normal Moleskine notebook to write down any research I did for an article, my ideas and all kind of other stuff. But I also got a Moleskine weekly planner. They have different ones, but I prefer the one with the agenda on the left and an normal page on the right for writing down my to do list of the week, ideas and other things I just need to write down. After that year I tried many other agenda's, but this year I got back to Moleskine and I love it! It's the large version, with a soft cover, a bookmark plus an elastic closure and an expandable inner pocket. The leather cover feels soft and flexibel and I already can't believe how I manage the last view years without.
