I don't know about you, but I just really like having candles in my house. Especially during winter, the perfect burning time if you asks me, I like to have a nice scented candle in my living room. Or when taking a bath (and imagining I'm in a spa) in my bathroom and before going to bed (while reading a book) in my bedroom. And yes, even in the smallest room of the house (a.k.a. the toilet). The first scented candles I used to have were in vanilla by De Tuinen (Dutch store). They were small, but perfect for my bedroom at home (back when I used to live at my parents, years ago), and made my room feel cosy and warm. After I got my own appartement I tried many other candles, all with a vanilla kind of scent. But the scent was either too strong (and gave me an headache) or I did not smell them at all. But last week I found the perfect one. It's a mix of cocos and vanilla, and this candle has the best scent ever! Even without using it, (the paper shopping bag that it came in already smelt great). I find them basic, but nice looking. And this vanilla scent don't give you a headache what so ever. Expensive? Well, not really. These candles, show in the image above, are by Primark, and cost only 3 (square, 30 hours) and 4 (round, 28 hours) euro.
