On a sad day like today, one day after the horrible terrorists attacks in Paris, it almost feels weird to blog about my weekend essentials. While I'm writing this it's cold, dark and raining outside in Amsterdam. A day you don't want to go outside, watch the news all day long, while hoping things will get better soon. I love Paris, always have and always will. A lot of people use the hashtag #PrayForParis and #ParisIsAboutLife. Especially the last one I really like, because it's so true.
Yesterday I received this amazing book by one of my favorite bloggers Garance Doré, called 'Love, Style, Life'. Style is not important today, but Love and Life definitely is.
My Essentials:
- 'Love, Style, Life', by Garance Doré. Can't wait to read this book, and I'm so happy I finally got my hands on it.
- Chanel Les Beiges (my favorite powder ever) in No 60, simply can't live without.
- Lipstick Rouge Coco Vendôme, by Chanel. The perfect everyday red. Not too dark, not too orange, just what I prefer.
- My cheeks could also use some colour today and Chanel Le Blush Crème in Presage is just perfect for that.
- The amazing neutral heels are by Zara, and so are this (heavy) but lovely earrings.
